In the Google AdWords Beta, you can find the ad extension: promotion extensions.
This feature make your ads bigger on Google. The promotion extension can be used when you have a special offer, in connection with events. This could be Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, school start or Black Friday.
Promotional extensions make your ads stand out so potential customers can spot your great deals and generate sales for your business. Promotion extensions appear at the bottom of your ads with a title e.g. Christmas sale. When customers click on your extension, they go directly to your offers.
You can add the promotion extensions to the account, campaign and ad group level. This allows you to decide for yourself which ads your offers should be displayed on. If you have offers on the entire shop, it is smartest to have the promotion extensions at account level, as they will be shown on all your ads. If you only have offers on certain products, you can add the promotional extensions to a specific campaign or ad group.
Promotion extensions are free to add and you only pay for clicks in the same way as with your regular text ads.
You can add a discount in percentage or amount, as well as add any promotional code. In addition, you can also offer your customers a discount on purchases over a certain amount.
